A Blog for Brandon
Thinking about you today pal.
First off, so sorry for the scary fire. I love my hardwood floors very very much. They were one of the first things we had installed a year ago, beginning the process of making my grandfather's house our house. The thought of my wife almost being on fire and my hardwoods catching on fire is a terrifying vision. So glad the house is otherwise okay, and most of all, that your family is safe. Wood is replenishable. Perfect brides are harder to come by.
(Side note: How did a few schlubs like us end up with such fabulous babes? God is Good.)
Secondly, so glad the decision has been made about your mother. And I'm very glad to hear how excited she is for the move. I can't imagine how in the world you guys made all those arrangements so fast. And boy do I relate to the ADD. Those numbers start flying and I start thinking about how funny monkeys are. Anyways, I completely relate to all the tough decisions you've been going through. My grandfather, after selling Alyssa and I his house, moved into an independent living facility just down the road. At first, it was a good move for him. But the last few months have been rough, and my folks are here this weekend trying to convince him to move to Abilene, where they can be of more help to him. Family is never convenient or easy, but we're lucky to have them. And I know God will bless this major life change.
You guys are in our prayers.
And don't worry... Harold's Damn Hot Sauce will still be there whenever you can get back to Abilene to visit. After all, you have to come for club breakfast, right?
